Taiwan’s largest coffee chain the 85 Degree Bakery Cafe is enjoying succes after launching new product “salt coffee”. It looks like they managed to change Taiwanian coffee drinker’s habits and more customers started to order Salt Coffee rather than black or sugared coffee.
Cathy Chung, spokeswoman for the 85 Degree Bakery Cafe says that one outlet may sell even 700 cups of Salt Coffee a day, wich is more than 20% of they daily sale of branded coffees.
